Salon Receptionist

Duties

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
• Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using our appointment system, as well as being able to accurately give appointments to the right nail technicians.
• Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and maintaining accurate transaction records.
• Keep track of ticket commissions of the nail technicians within the salon.
• Maintain an organized reception area.
• Provide assistance to customer needs such as providing polish options and answers to questions.
• Support the nail technicians with tasks when necessary to ensure smooth salon operations.
• Perform janitorial duties such as washing, drying, and folding dry/hot towels.
• Take phone calls from potential clients and be able to schedule appointments accurately and precisely, as well as answering any questions that may arise, such as pricing and services.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Basic proficiency in using the computer and basic math for accurate cash handling.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task, such as being able to take phone calls as well as doing various other tasks within the salon.

Requirements

• Flexible times and potential weekend and weekday availabilities.
• While prior experience in receptionist/customer service roles is not required, it would be a plus!
