Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage appointment scheduling using POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently and accurately
- Answer all incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries promptly and courteously
- Upsell salon products and services by informing clients about current promotions and new offerings
- Assist with product demos, merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining an organized retail area
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and perform cashiering duties with basic math skills
- Support the salon team with customer service needs, ensuring client satisfaction at every touchpoint
- Maintain cleanliness of the reception area and ensure all supplies are stocked for daily operations
- Communicate effectively with bilingual clients or team members to ensure clear understanding and service excellence
Experience
- Previous supervising experience in retail or customer service environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, retail math, and basic cashiering procedures
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, merchandising, and stock management is advantageous
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in fast-paced settings such as retail stores or grocery environments
- Demonstrated professionalism in phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy salon atmosphere
