Salon Manager / Business Development Manager at Beauty Salon

This is NOT a receptionist position. The owner is an active beauty professional with an established clientele and is looking for a strong manager who can take over the business development and operational side of the salon.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and build a strong team of beauty professionals
• Attract new clients and increase salon revenue
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies
• Manage social media and coordinate advertising
• Reactivate existing clients and increase repeat bookings
• Manage staff schedules and salon operations
• Fill available rooms/chairs and increase their profitability
• Track sales, bookings, client retention, and staff performance
• Create promotions and strategies to increase bookings
• Provide the owner with a weekly performance report
• Take initiative and independently develop the salon

What does the ideal candidate look like?

• Has previous salon, spa, beauty, or similar management experience
• Has experience recruiting and managing a team
• Understands sales and marketing
• Is organized, proactive, responsible, and results-driven
• Can show specific results from previous positions
• Can provide professional references
