Salon Assistant/Junior Stylist at Salon Amalfi

Job Description

We are a busy, growing salon where assistants receive hands-on training while working closely with our stylists and guests. This role is designed to grow into a stylist position through our training and mentorship program.

Salon Amalfi is located in Millis, MA, so applicants should be comfortable commuting and building their clientele in this area.

What You'll Do

• Create a welcoming, friendly environment for every guest who visits the salon
• Assist stylists with guest preparation including shampooing, treatments, and blow-drying
• Help keep the salon clean, organized, and running smoothly
• Schedule appointments, check guests in and out, and assist with front desk tasks
• Set up and prepare stations for services
• Learn and grow through hands-on training with the goal of transitioning to a stylist

What We're Looking For

• Positive, outgoing, and motivated personality
• Reliable and eager to learn and grow in the industry
• Cosmetology license or currently enrolled in cosmetology school
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment
