Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Salon Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals eager to learn the ins and outs of the beauty industry while providing exceptional customer service. As a Salon Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced stylists and gain hands-on experience in various salon services, including hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques.

Duties

• Assist licensed cosmetologists and barbers with daily salon operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients and ensuring their needs are met.
• Learn and practice hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques under supervision.
• Support front desk operations including scheduling appointments and managing salon software.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon environment.
• Familiarize yourself with color theory.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills in haircutting and coloring techniques, and other salon services.

Qualifications

• A passion for the beauty industry with a desire to learn and grow.
• Basic knowledge of cosmetology or barbering principles is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
• Familiarity with salon software is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
