Responsibilities

• Assist stylists with hair services including blowouts, hair cutting, and coloring.
• Maintain a clean and organized salon environment, adhering to sanitation standards.
• Partially manage front desk operations, including appointment scheduling using salon software such as MEEVO
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Support retail sales by upselling products and providing recommendations based on client needs.
• Participate in mentoring opportunities for junior staff or interns to foster a collaborative learning environment.
• Stay updated on color theory and current trends in hairstyling and beauty services.
• Help manage inventory and store management tasks to ensure smooth salon operations.

Requirements

• A background in cosmetology is required.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Familiarity with salon software systems, particularly MEEVO, is advantageous.
• Knowledge of retail math to assist with sales tracking and inventory management.
• Experience or willingness to learn about hair styling techniques, colors, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is a plus.
