Part-Time Salon Assistant at Polo Salon & Spa

The position includes a combination of front-desk responsibilities and general salon support.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting clients
• Answering phones, texts, and client messages
• Scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments
• Managing appointments through Square
• Client checkout and retail transactions
• Confirming appointments and assisting with rebooking
• Maintaining towels and capes, including washing, drying, folding, and restocking
• Restocking salon supplies and products
• Monitoring basic inventory
• Keeping the reception area and common salon areas neat and organized
• Assisting with general day-to-day salon duties as needed

What Does the Ideal Candidate Look Like?

• Dependable, punctual, organized, and personable
• Comfortable multitasking and willing to take initiative
• Experience with Square POS/Square Appointments is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Salon or customer-service experience is a plus, but reliability, professionalism, and a great attitude are just as important
