Salon Assistant

In this role, you will support the daily operations of the salon, assist stylists and technicians, and ensure an exceptional client experience. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth running of appointments, retail sales, and sanitation standards. Duties

• Greet clients warmly.
• Assist stylists with preparing stations and supplies before and after appointments.
• Shampoo and condition clients' hair as directed by the stylist.
• Support stylists with preparing workstations, sterilizing tools, and maintaining sanitation protocols including hair, eyelash extensions, and nail care areas.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon environment, including sanitation of tools and equipment in accordance with health standards.
• Assist with laundry, towel drying, and preparing clients for services.
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude towards all clients.
• Support store management with inventory tracking and restocking supplies as needed.
• Offer coffee, tea, or water to clients.
• Sweep and maintain floors throughout the day.
• Clean mirrors, countertops, shelves, and other salon areas.

Requirements

• Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with stylists and other salon staff.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Comfortable performing cleaning, laundry, restock, and general salon duties.
• Able to stand and move around for extended periods.
• Able to lift and carry salon supplies, towels, and other items as needed.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
