Salon Assistants provide friendly and personalized guest experiences, building strong relationships with clients while ensuring ease of transition between guests' hair services, providing exceptional shampoo experiences, as well as assisting with hair color and style services. We offer ongoing education to all Assistants to increase skillsets and encourage complete readiness for promotion to Artist on the salon floor. This is a great opportunity to grow and train directly from the top talent in the hair industry, and develop into a successful stylist or colorist position. Responsibilities

• Attend and engage in all hands-on training and education opportunities, observing Artists and following instructions given for services.
• Build positive relationships by listening to guests and effectively identify and meet their needs with each hair service, including shampoos, glosses, rinses as well as assisting artists with blowouts and color applications.
• Assist with the flow and tidiness of the salon floor, maintaining the visual standards of the salon floor and backbar area.
• As needed, support the Guest Reception team with answering phones, booking appointments, and checking out guests.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the products and services available to guests.
• Provide exceptional, professional, and cheerful guest services.

Requirements

• Must have or be actively pursuing a valid CT Cosmetology or Barber license.
• Must have a positive, friendly, and outgoing personality.
