Tanning Salon Sales Associate

About the Position

This is a sales-driven front desk role, not a position where you simply sit back and press a few buttons. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, upbeat, dependable, confident speaking with customers, and motivated to actively sell memberships, tanning packages, lotions, upgrades, and salon services.

We are all about creating a positive, welcoming, high-energy environment for our customers. The right person should bring great energy to every shift, enjoy interacting with people, and help keep the salon atmosphere fun, friendly, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers professionally
• Actively sell memberships, packages, lotions, upgrades, and promotions
• Educate clients on tanning services, products, and salon options
• Recommend products and services based on customer needs
• Perform sales transactions and handle cash/credit card payments
• Maintain salon cleanliness and sanitize tanning equipment
• Handle laundry, stocking, and general salon organization
• Open and/or close the salon as scheduled
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Help cover shifts when needed

Requirements

• Must live in or near Rockland County, NY or Bergen County, NJ
• Upbeat, energetic, and comfortable speaking with customers
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable with sales, upselling, and making recommendations
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have morning and Saturday availability
• Looking for a long-term position, not seasonal employment
