Receptionist / Guest Services Coordinator at Matono Salon

As the first point of contact for our clients, you'll play an essential role in creating a welcoming, calm, and elevated experience. This role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
• Answer and manage phone calls using a multi-line phone system with great phone etiquette
• Schedule appointments and manage the salon calendar
• Assist with product sales, client checkouts, and occasional inventory tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and beautiful reception area
• Support the team with light administrative tasks (filing, data entry, confirmations, etc.)
• Use software (training provided) such as QuickBooks for light financial tasks if needed
• Communicate effectively with clients and the salon team to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Previous salon, spa, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure
• Polished, friendly, and professional demeanor
• Experience with appointment software and phones is a plus
• Familiarity with QuickBooks is helpful but not required
• Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and great with people
