Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and artistry.
• Apply advanced techniques including nail art, color theory-based designs, and intricate nail extensions to meet client preferences.
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, equipment, and workstations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer personalized recommendations, and ensure a satisfying experience.
• Educate clients on proper nail care routines and product usage to promote healthy nails and skin.
• Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, skincare items, and nail enhancement products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments, and industry best practices to continuously elevate service quality.

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of color theory for creating visually appealing nail designs.
• Proficiency in applying various nail enhancements including acrylics, gel nails, and extensions.
• Experience performing pedicures, manicures, body waxing, hair styling, eyelash extensions, hair threading, and esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
• Strong understanding of salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and overall hygiene practices.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients.
• Ability to educate clients on nail care routines while promoting retail sales through upselling techniques.
• Knowledge of cosmetology principles combined with experience working in the beauty industry enhances service delivery.
• Competence in retail math for managing product sales effectively while maintaining high-quality client interactions.
