Nail Technician

Duties

• Provide professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, gel-X extensions, and nail art with precision and creativity
• Apply advanced techniques such as nail extensions, gel polish, and intricate designs based on client preferences
• Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Educate clients on nail care routines, product recommendations, and aftercare tips to promote healthy nails
• Assist with retail sales by recommending suitable nail care products and accessories to clients
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art and industry innovations to provide cutting-edge services

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role with a strong portfolio of nail art and extension work
• Broad knowledge of nail practices including gel manicures, pedicures, and gel-X nail application (preferred)
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, and disinfection procedures
• Strong communication skills to engage clients confidently, understand their desired outcomes, and provide personalized recommendations
• Ability to perform detailed nail care services such as cuticle treatment, buffing, shaping, and polishing
• Utilize salon software, Meevo, for appointment scheduling, rebooking, and client records
• Basic understanding of color theory for custom nail design recommendations
• Certification or licensing in cosmetology or related field is required
