Duties

• Perform professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and intricate nail art designs.
• Apply and maintain nail enhancements such as extensions, tips, and overlays with precision and care.
• Use color theory knowledge to select complementary shades and create eye-catching designs tailored to client preferences.
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
• Deliver personalized customer service by understanding client needs, offering product recommendations, and upselling additional services or retail items.
• Assist clients with skincare treatments like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments when applicable.
• Stay current on beauty trends, new techniques, and product knowledge to continually elevate your craft.

Skills

• Strong understanding of color theory for creating harmonious and striking nail art designs.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their aesthetic goals.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
• Proficiency in cosmetology principles including nail care, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair threading, and esthetic laser treatments.
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing outstanding customer service.
• Familiarity with retail math for managing sales transactions accurately.
• Experience with barbering or other beauty services is a plus but not required.

Requirements

• Valid Nail Technician License (Required)
