Lead Nail Technician and Trainer at Cure Nail Parlor

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality nail services, leading by example on the salon floor, and training team members to maintain exceptional service standards, hygiene, and technique. The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty, client care, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nail services, including manicures, pedicures, gel polish, soft gel extensions, builder gel, nail art, and other treatments offered by the salon.
• Train new and existing staff on nail techniques, product knowledge, client service, and hygiene protocols.
• Maintain the Cure training manual and update it frequently.
• Lead and support the nail technician team in daily operations.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching to improve service quality and efficiency.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Assist in managing appointment flow, service quality, and workstation organization.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and products, and share knowledge with the team.
• Support inventory tracking and report product supply needs to management.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in accordance with salon policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Nail Technician, with leadership or training experience preferred.
• Valid nail technician/cosmetology license.
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, nail health, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Experience with gel, builder gel, soft gel extensions, nail art, and other advanced nail services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development abilities.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in a senior, lead, or educator/trainer role.
• Ability to develop training materials and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to mentor a team of nail technicians.
• Passion for ongoing education and beauty industry trends.

Working Conditions
