Duties

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain strict sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
• Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail treatments and color options based on client preferences and skin tone
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and industry techniques to offer innovative services
• Upsell retail products like nail care items, polishes, and tools to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
• Support team efforts by participating in promotional events and retail sales initiatives to grow the business

Skills

• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques including cuticle care, shaping, polishing, and advanced nail art design
• Proficiency in color theory to create harmonious and eye-catching nail designs
• Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional advice
• Experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on nails or esthetics preferred
• Knowledge of sanitation practices such as disinfection procedures for tools and workspaces
• Ability to perform additional beauty treatments like eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, or hair extensions is a plus
• Retail math skills for effective upselling of products and services while ensuring customer satisfaction
