Nail Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity.
• Stay current with the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and innovative techniques to offer fresh options to clients.
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and workstations to ensure client safety and hygiene compliance.
• Offer personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements.
• Upsell additional services such as hand or foot massages, body waxing, eyelash extensions, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction.
• Manage retail sales of nail products, skincare items, and beauty accessories while demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace that adheres to health regulations and safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role in a professional salon or spa environment.
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, including gel application, acrylics, and intricate nail art designs.
• Familiarity with color theory to create harmonious and eye-catching nail designs.
• Experience with sanitation procedures and maintaining a sterile work environment.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their beauty goals effectively.
• Ability to upsell services confidently while providing outstanding customer service.
• Additional skills such as hair extensions, hair styling, barbering, dermabrasion, or esthetic laser treatments are a plus but not required.
