Duties

• Perform a variety of nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel x nails, builder gel (BIAB) and nail art with precision and artistry
• Apply advanced treatments including cuticle care, nail strengthening, and exfoliation to promote healthy nails
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and disinfecting workstations according to industry regulations
• Offer personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail designs, colors, and treatments based on client preferences
• Upsell additional services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, massages, facials, and treatments to enhance client satisfaction and revenue
• Stay current with the latest trends in color theory, nail art techniques, and beauty innovations to provide fresh ideas
• Build strong relationships through excellent communication skills and attentive customer service that encourages repeat visits

Experience

• Proven experience as a manicurist or nail technician in a professional salon or spa environment
• Ability to perform retail sales confidently using retail math skills to recommend products effectively
• Strong communication skills to educate clients about treatments and upselling opportunities
• Certification in cosmetology or nail license in NJ
• Retail sales strategies to promote products and services effectively
