Spa Nail Technician

Duties

• Perform a variety of nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
• Apply advanced techniques such as nail extensions, gel polish application, and intricate nail designs using color theory principles to achieve stunning results
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations
• Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable treatments or enhancements like eyelash extensions or body waxing
• Upsell retail products such as nail care items, skincare products, or body treatments to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
• Assist clients with additional beauty services such as hair styling, hair extensions, or hair threading when qualified
• Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare instructions for lasting results

Experience

• Proven experience as a professional Nail Technician in a spa or salon setting with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work
• Knowledge of current trends in nail care, color theory, and esthetic treatments including dermabrasion and esthetic laser procedures
• Familiarity with sanitation protocols and maintaining a sterile workspace to ensure client safety
• Ability to perform advanced beauty services such as eyelash extensions, hair extensions, body waxing, hair styling, and barbering when applicable
• Excellent communication skills to engage clients effectively and provide outstanding customer service
• Experience in retail sales techniques and upselling strategies to promote products confidently
• Certification in cosmetology or related beauty fields is required; additional training in specialized treatments like laser therapy or dermabrasion is a plus
