Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and artistry
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail designs or treatments based on color theory and current trends
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, addressing client needs, and upselling additional services or retail products to enhance their experience
• Stay updated on the latest nail techniques, trends, and product innovations to deliver modern and stylish results
• Assist with retail sales of nail care products, cosmetics, and accessories to support client needs and boost store revenue
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold the salon's high standards of service

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license or relevant certification with training in nail care techniques
• Strong knowledge of color theory for creating appealing nail designs and color combinations
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their preferences
• Experience with advanced services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, or barbering is a plus but not required
• Demonstrated commitment to sanitation protocols and maintaining a hygienic workspace
• Ability to upsell services confidently while prioritizing customer satisfaction
• Basic retail math skills for managing product sales and inventory effectively
