Duties

• Deliver professional nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
• Maintain strict sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements
• Stay current on the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and beauty techniques to provide innovative services
• Upsell retail products like nail polishes, skincare items, or tools to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Assist with retail sales by educating clients on product benefits and usage
• Support the overall cleanliness of the workspace and ensure all tools are properly sterilized after each use

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license with certification in nail technology or related field
• Proven experience in nail care services including manicures, pedicures, acrylics, gels, and artistic designs
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in a salon environment
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Familiarity with color theory, nail enhancements, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, and barbering is a plus
• Ability to upsell products confidently while providing excellent customer service
• Basic retail math skills to manage transactions accurately
