Duties

• Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and artistry
• Apply advanced techniques such as nail extensions, gel polish application, and intricate nail designs using color theory principles to create stunning looks
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment to promote client safety and hygiene
• Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements
• Upsell additional services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Stay current with the latest trends in nail care, hair extensions, hair styling, and other beauty services to offer innovative options
• Manage retail sales of nail products and beauty accessories confidently using retail math skills to meet sales goals
• Communicate clearly with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction throughout each appointment

Skills

• Strong knowledge of color theory for creating visually appealing nail designs and art
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure repeat business
• Proficiency in sanitation practices aligned with health regulations to maintain a safe salon environment
• Formal training in cosmetology or esthetician programs with certification in nail care techniques
• Experience with advanced beauty treatments such as dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, hair threading, and hair styling is a plus
• Ability to perform hair extensions, barbering, eyelash extensions, and body waxing enhances versatility
• Retail sales experience combined with retail math skills to upsell products effectively
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and connect with clients professionally
