Duties

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and artistry
• Apply advanced techniques including nail extensions, gel polish application, and intricate designs based on client preferences
• Maintain strict sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
• Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail care treatments and products
• Upsell retail products like nail polishes, skincare items, and tools to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
• Assist with additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair threading, or esthetic laser treatments when qualified
• Keep detailed records of services provided and client preferences to foster repeat business and build lasting relationships

Experience

• Proven experience as a professional Nail Technician or in a similar beauty service role with a strong portfolio of nail artistry
• Knowledge of color theory to create visually appealing designs that complement individual styles
• Familiarity with sanitation protocols to uphold health standards in a busy salon environment
• Basic understanding of cosmetology principles including skin care, body waxing, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments is preferred
• Strong communication skills to engage clients effectively and recommend appropriate services or products
• Experience with retail sales techniques such as upselling to maximize revenue opportunities
• Additional skills in hair extensions, hair styling, barbering, or eyelash extensions are advantageous but not mandatory
