Duties

• Consult with clients to understand their hair goals, concerns, and preferences, providing expert recommendations tailored to their needs
• Perform precise hair system applications, including attachment, blending, and styling to ensure natural appearance and comfort
• Utilize advanced techniques such as hair extensions and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace following all sanitation standards and safety protocols
• Manage appointment scheduling using salon software like Vagaro or similar platforms to optimize client flow
• Educate clients on proper hair system care, maintenance routines, and available retail products for ongoing support
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing retail sales, and handling payments with retail math accuracy

Skills

• Expertise in hair styling techniques specific to men's hair systems and scalp treatments
• Strong knowledge of color theory for blending hair systems seamlessly with natural hair
• Skilled in using tools like straight razors for precise detailing and finishing touches
• Experience with store management tasks including inventory control and retail sales strategies
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with diverse clients and team members
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Ability to perform additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading
• Background in cosmetology or barbering certifications preferred
• Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues and foster a positive team atmosphere

Compensation

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
