About the Role
We’re not just looking for a great future stylist — we’re looking for someone who fits the way we work and grow together.
The Ideal Candidate
You’ll thrive at Maven if you:
- Communicate thoughtfully with guests and teammates — whether it’s in person, over the phone, or by email
- Are eager to learn, open to feedback, and willing to put in the work to keep growing your skills and confidence
- Bring a friendly, welcoming energy to every interaction
- Manage your time well, stay organized, and take responsibility for your learning and progress

Responsibilities
- Be a supportive and collaborative team member
- Administrative duties
- Guest relations and communications
- Support team and guest experience in the salon
- Complete the MIT Program in full
- Social media and marketing for both the salon and your own professional pages
Training begins in a support/administrative role which teaches each new team member all aspects of how Maven operates so they can be empathetic and supportive to all roles in the company. This also allows time to bond with guests and team members while learning the basics of what it takes to be a successful Maven team member.
This includes guest relations and communications, and supporting both the team and guest experience. After support training is completed, the MIT begins training in all aspects of becoming a successful Maven stylist — including technical skills, guest experience, social media, and everything related to building your own business behind the chair.
