Independent Massage Therapist at Wellness Works of Maine

Build Your Practice in a Specialized Wellness Space

Looking for a massage therapist with existing clientele who wants to grow their own practice within a calm, professional, and highly specialized wellness environment.

This is an independent contractor / room rental opportunity inside Wellness Works of Maine, a space known for helping clients with head, neck, and shoulder conditions, as well as dizziness and concussion recovery.

We are looking for someone whose work complements this focus — someone who values thoughtful, client-centered care and wants to be part of a collaborative (but independent) environment.

What Makes This Space Unique

  • Established referral base focused on orthopedic and nervous system-related conditions
  • Ideal for a therapist who enjoys slower, more intentional work vs. high-volume turnover
  • Opportunity for natural cross-referrals (not competition)
  • Professional setting designed for both clients and practitioners to feel at ease
  • Interdisciplinary: Physical therapy and yoga practitioners are also part of this wellness space

This Is an Independent Contractor Opportunity

You will:

  • Set your own schedule
  • Book and manage your own clients
  • Set your own services and pricing
  • Collect your own payments

This is best suited for a therapist who either has an existing clientele or is motivated to build one within a supportive environment.

Great Fit If You

  • Enjoy working with clients dealing with stress, tension, or chronic discomfort
  • Value a slower-paced, quality-of-care approach
  • Want autonomy while still being part of a wellness-focused space
  • Offer services that complement (not duplicate) specialized PT care

Not a Fit If You're Looking For

  • Hourly pay or guaranteed bookings
  • A set schedule or employee structure
  • A high-volume, spa-style environment

How to Apply

Send a short note about your experience, the type of clients you enjoy working with, and how you'd use the space to grow your practice.
