Your expertise in various massage techniques, thorough understanding of human physiology and previous professional experience will ensure each client receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs. Duties

• Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Prenatal Massage, Manual Lymph Drainage, and Medical massage modalities.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
• Apply thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure safe and effective treatments aligned with client health conditions.
• Communicate clearly with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and offer guidance on post-session care.
• Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with health regulations.
• Ensure client comfort and safety throughout each session by adhering to proper hygiene standards and safety protocols.
• Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and advances in medical terminology related to occupational health and pain management.

Qualifications

• Valid NYC massage therapy license with proven experience delivering high-quality services in a professional setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, prenatal massage, and medical massage.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Certification in CPR.
• Professional Liability Insurance.
• Ability to maintain professionalism while creating a welcoming environment that fosters trust and relaxation for clients.

Additional Information

• Part time, starting at $70 per hour of massage performed.
• Must be available for late afternoon & early evening hours on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
