We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our spa team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. - Provide a variety of massage therapy treatments tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safe, effective therapy sessions.
- Maintain clear communication with clients about their treatment goals, progress, and any relevant medical or physiological considerations.
- Ensure all treatments adhere to health and safety standards, including CPR certification and proper sanitation procedures.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend follow-up treatments or lifestyle adjustments as needed.
- Keep detailed records of each session, including client feedback, treatment details, and progress notes for ongoing care.
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and medical terminology to continually enhance your skills and service quality.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification.
- 2 years of experience (we are also open to motivated newly licensed individuals).
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately assess clients' needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
- Excellent client communication skills to build trust and ensure a positive client experience.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and injury recovery.
- Certifications required for safety compliance.
- Prior experience in a med spa or healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for helping others achieve wellness is essential.
