Massage Therapist at The Treatment Room @ Mike's Fitness JP

The Treatment Room offers massage therapy, sports massage, cupping, dry needling, and other wellness modalities to Mike's Fitness members and the surrounding community.

We offer a professional, supportive environment where wellness practitioners can build their practice, grow their client base, and work on a schedule that fits their needs. Team members also have full access to Mike's Fitness facilities, including our 15,000-square-foot weight room.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional therapeutic massage services focused on relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being
• Assess clients and determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment approaches
• Perform massage modalities including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
• Use knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide safe and effective treatments
• Educate clients on appropriate post-treatment care, exercises, and stretches
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment
• Maintain accurate client treatment records while respecting confidentiality
• Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education

What We're Looking For

• Valid Massachusetts massage therapy license
• Experience providing therapeutic massage, with a focus on pain management and relaxation
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, or other advanced modalities preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to assess individual client needs and provide personalized treatments
• Professional, dependable, and attentive to detail
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and high standards of safety and hygiene
