Licensed Massage Therapist

In this energetic role, you will utilize your expertise to provide tailored massage therapies and aesthetic treatments that promote relaxation, healing, and beauty. Booth rental is $800 monthly. First month is free with a 6-month contract.

Duties

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue, Swedish, and other modalities to meet individual client needs
• Administer aesthetic treatments such as dermal fillers, Botox (Botulinum toxin), dermabrasion, chemical peels, and laser therapies with precision and care
• Manage client consultations to assess their goals, explain treatment options, and ensure satisfaction through clear communication
• Maintain strict sanitation standards and adhere to all health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Utilize salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, client records, and retail sales tracking
• Promote additional services like body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair extensions, makeup application, and nail care to enhance client experience
• Engage in social media management by sharing updates, product demos, and special offers to attract new clients and retain existing ones

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with certification in esthetic or cosmetology specialties preferred
• Proven experience working in the beauty or wellness industry with knowledge of aesthetic treatments including injectables and laser procedures
• Strong management skills with familiarity using salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling and client management
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, understand their needs, and provide personalized recommendations
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols, body waxing techniques, chemical peels, dermabrasion, and other skin care treatments
• Ability to perform hair styling, hair threading, makeup application, tattooing (if applicable), and other beauty services as needed
• Experience with retail sales techniques including upselling products like dermal fillers or skincare lines to enhance revenue
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for hospitality and guest services in a med spa or salon environment
• Skills in social media management for marketing purposes including product demos and client engagement strategies
