Licensed Massage Therapist at The MJ Treatment

The MJ Treatment is looking for a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing spa in the Bronx. This is an excellent opportunity for an independent, client-focused therapist who values flexibility while working in a professional, welcoming environment.

Whether your expertise is in relaxation, therapeutic massage, or specialty modalities, you'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients while doing meaningful work every day.

What You'll Do

• Provide customized massage therapy services based on each client's needs and wellness goals
• Conduct client consultations and recommend appropriate treatments
• Deliver exceptional customer service from start to finish
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized treatment rooms
• Complete accurate treatment notes and client documentation
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Help create a relaxing, professional experience that encourages repeat visits and referrals

What We're Looking For

• Active New York State Massage Therapy License or Permit
• Ability to obtain and maintain professional liability insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, dependable, and client-focused approach
• Passion for helping others improve their health and wellness
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a positive team environment

Preferred Modalities

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

• Swedish Massage
• Deep Tissue Massage
• Hot Stone Massage
• Cupping Therapy
• Prenatal Massage
• Sports Massage
• Reiki (a plus)

Compensation

This is an Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity. Compensation is paid per service performed, allowing you to increase your earnings based on the clients you serve. Additional commission opportunities may also be available.

Independent Contractor Information

As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy the flexibility to manage your own schedule while providing services within our spa. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, liability insurance, and other business-related expenses.
