Licensed Massage Therapist at Healspace

In this role, you will provide professional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
- Deliver a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate treatment plans tailored to their physiology and pain management needs.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of each session, including client progress and treatment notes in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations, including CPR certification requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients about their comfort levels during sessions and adjust techniques accordingly for optimal results.
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and expand service offerings.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in CPR.
- Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Excellent patient communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and injury rehabilitation.
- Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and compassion for clients' well-being.
- Massage Therapy License (Required)
