Massage Therapist and Esthetician

Duties

• Provide a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure effective pain management
• Utilize comprehensive knowledge of physiology and anatomy to deliver safe, effective massage techniques that address specific concerns
• Perform esthetic services such as skin analysis, facials, exfoliation, and other skincare treatments to enhance client appearance and well-being
• Communicate clearly with clients about treatment options, expectations, and aftercare instructions to ensure a positive experience
• Maintain detailed treatment records in accordance with medical terminology standards and clinic policies
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols including CPR certification and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff

Experience

• Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management techniques
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic treatments
• Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop customized treatment plans
• Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
• Familiarity with occupational health practices related to wellness treatments
• Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in specialized massage techniques or esthetic procedures are advantageous
