Massage Therapist / Esthetician

Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management treatments tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct thorough client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology, anatomy knowledge, and client communication
• Provide professional skincare treatments such as facials, exfoliation, waxing, and other esthetic services to enhance skin health and appearance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with occupational health standards and medical terminology protocols
• Educate clients on post-treatment care, product recommendations, and wellness strategies to promote ongoing health benefits
• Document client treatments accurately in accordance with medical terminology standards and company policies
• Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and certifications such as CPR to ensure the highest level of service delivery

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of physiology and anatomy to tailor treatments effectively
• Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills that foster trust and loyalty
• Strong client communication skills to explain procedures clearly and address individual concerns confidently
• Expertise in various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments
• Experience with esthetic procedures such as skincare treatments and waxing services
• Ability to assess patient needs accurately through patient assessment techniques and adapt treatments accordingly
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic practices and esthetic services
• Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in massage therapy or esthetics are highly preferred
• Knowledge of pain management strategies to help clients achieve relief from chronic or acute discomfort
• Prior med spa experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with integrated wellness environments
