Licensed Massage Therapist

We are looking for a licensed massage therapist to join our team.

We offer flexible shifts. We would like at least one of the following days to be covered: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Saturday.

We are open to the following shift options:

  • One day every other week
  • One day per week
  • Two days per week

Pay is per massage and not per hour. Minimum pay is $50 per treatment hour performed. We also offer profit sharing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern
  • Apply physiology knowledge and anatomy expertise to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions
  • Educate clients on pain management strategies, occupational health practices, and self-care routines
  • Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and medical history using clear medical terminology
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, safety standards, and CPR certification requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns

Experience

  • Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current CPR certification
  • Proven experience in massage therapy, especially in med spa settings or occupational health environments
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
  • Experience performing deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy effectively
  • Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and pain management strategies
  • Prior work in customer service-oriented roles that emphasize patient care and satisfaction
  • Knowledge of occupational health practices to support workplace wellness initiatives
