We are actively seeking skilled and compassionate massage therapists to join our dynamic team in Marblehead. The ideal candidates will possess a genuine passion for patient care and wellness, with a strong background in various massage techniques and therapies. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual health conditions and goals.
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy practices.
- Educate clients on pain management strategies and occupational health practices to support their ongoing wellness.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and safety regulations including CPR certification requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care when necessary.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of massage therapy techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic practices.
- Proven ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop customized treatment plans.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building trust and rapport with clients.
- Prior experience is highly desirable.
- CPR certification and ongoing education in massage therapy or related fields are preferred.
