Room Rental Massage Therapist

Duties

• Perform professional massage therapy treatments for clients based on their individual needs and preferences
• Assess clients' conditions and medical histories to determine the most appropriate massage techniques and treatments
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client comfort and satisfaction throughout the session
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sanitizing equipment and changing linens between clients
• Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and provide recommendations for at-home self-care techniques

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed massage therapist
• Proficient in a variety of massage modalities including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to massage therapy
• Experience in occupational health or pain management settings is preferred
• Ability to perform physical examinations and assess acute pain management needs

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt techniques based on individual client needs
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and standards
• Knowledge of proper body mechanics to prevent injury while performing massages
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
