We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with the ability to assess patient needs and provide tailored massage therapy treatments. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals.
• Provide various types of massage therapy, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and techniques suitable for med spa environments.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and feedback.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment for clients.
• Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices to enhance their health outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care when necessary.
• Stay updated on the latest techniques in massage therapy and related fields such as occupational health and pain management.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
• Experience in patient service with a focus on delivering high-quality customer care.
• Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Previous experience in a med spa or similar setting is preferred but not required.
