The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic treatments to clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting overall wellness. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be essential in assessing patient needs and delivering effective treatments.

Our Salon & Spa has just undergone renovations and doubled in space, adding 3 brand new renovated rooms. They are equipped with sinks as well, ideal for massage therapy. We are a full-service salon and spa and we are missing a massage therapist! We have the clientele for you and are eager to begin hiring. Please reach out today!

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
• Provide a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Maintain knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure safe and effective treatments.
• Utilize medical terminology when discussing treatment plans with clients or healthcare professionals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in an occupational health setting as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong background in various techniques, particularly deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential.
• Previous experience in a med spa or similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Strong patient assessment skills to tailor treatments effectively based on individual needs.
