At Sunstone Beauty Bar, we believe massage therapy is more than a luxury — it's an essential part of helping our clients feel their best. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a skilled, compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist who wants to grow with us long-term.

We're intentionally hiring for a part-time position because we believe therapists perform their best when they have time to recharge. Our goal is to build a schedule that supports both our clients and our team while creating opportunities for future growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide customized therapeutic massage services based on each client's needs
• Perform thorough client consultations and maintain accurate SOAP notes
• Educate clients on stretching, wellness, home care, and treatment recommendations
• Recommend retail products and treatment plans when appropriate
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the treatment room according to New York State regulations
• Collaborate with our esthetic team to create a seamless client experience
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Current New York State Massage Therapy License
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Passion for wellness and continued learning
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail
• Comfortable building long-term client relationships
• Weekend availability is required
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: Starting at $25.00 per hour with performance-based opportunities for pay increases.

Expected Schedule: Approximately 12–24 hours per week, including weekends, with opportunities for additional hours as the client base grows.
