Licensed Massage Therapist

Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue, Swedish, sports, and relaxation massages to meet individual client needs.
• Conduct consultations with clients to understand their goals and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in accordance with health regulations and spa protocols.
• Manage appointment scheduling using salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY, ensuring smooth flow of client bookings.
• Provide exceptional guest services by creating a calming environment, addressing client concerns, and upselling relevant products or additional treatments like dermal fillers or body waxing.
• Demonstrate knowledge of skincare products and perform product demos to educate clients on benefits and usage.
• Keep detailed records of treatments provided, client preferences, and treatment plans for future reference.
• Collaborate with team members on social media management to promote services and special offers effectively.
• Assist at the front desk when needed, handling inquiries, check-ins, and payment processing efficiently.
• Uphold sanitation standards through proper cleaning of treatment rooms and equipment after each session.

Experience

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with comprehensive knowledge of massage techniques and bodywork modalities.
• Prior experience in a spa, med spa, or wellness center is highly preferred; experience with med spa treatments such as botulinum toxin injections or dermal fillers is a plus.
• Familiarity with salon software platforms like Millennium or MINDBODY to manage appointments and client data seamlessly.
• Strong management skills to coordinate schedules, handle retail sales, and oversee guest services smoothly.
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members while delivering top-tier customer service.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices aligned with health regulations for massage therapy environments.
• Experience in social media management for promoting services, product demos, or special events is advantageous.
• Additional skills such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, or hair styling can enhance your versatility within our team.
