Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) at META Bodywork

META Bodywork is a modern holistic wellness studio located in Downtown Jersey City, NJ. We focus on providing exceptional quality therapeutic bodywork services for our clients.

This is a unique job opportunity to work in a therapist-owned, well-established practice with a tight-knit group of medical massage therapists and wellness experts. We value community, personal connections, and always expanding continuing education and growth among our therapists.

We are willing to work with and train the right candidate. Bonus if you have training in: Prenatal Massage, Cupping, or Lymphatic Drainage.

We offer a flexible schedule, full books, in-house training, and an LMT boss who understands the struggle. Compensation starts at $45–$55 per 60-minute massage hour based on experience, plus additional add-on payouts and gratuities.

Who You Are

• Strong knowledge of Anatomy
• One year of experience working as an LMT
• Fully licensed and insured to work in the state of NJ
• Can offer at least one evening shift & one weekend shift
• Passionate about living a wellness lifestyle
• Skilled in providing a variety of therapeutic massage and bodywork treatments for pain, injuries, pregnancy, and health maintenance using deep tissue techniques
• A willingness to do an in-depth client intake that includes: client health history, lifestyle injuries, physical conditions, and current wellness goals
• Ability to design a treatment plan around the client's specific needs and problem areas
• Can easily get in & out of Downtown Jersey City (we reimburse for parking)
