As a Massage Therapist, you will provide customized therapeutic and relaxation massage treatments that promote stress relief, recovery, circulation, and overall wellness. Every treatment should feel intentional, calming, and luxurious while reflecting our philosophy of natural healing and exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality therapeutic, relaxation, lymphatic, prenatal (if certified), and customized massage treatments.

• Conduct thorough client consultations and review health history before every session.

• Customize each treatment based on the client's goals, comfort level, and contraindications.

• Create a calming, luxury experience from greeting to farewell.

• Maintain detailed treatment notes and recommendations within our booking software.

• Recommend wellness services and retail products that support each client's goals.

• Maintain immaculate treatment rooms before and after every appointment.

• Follow all sanitation, infection control, and safety protocols.

• Launder linens and assist with spa upkeep during downtime.

• Arrive prepared and treatment-ready before each shift.

• Collaborate with estheticians and wellness staff to create comprehensive treatment plans.

• Participate in ongoing education and team meetings.

• Uphold the standards and reputation of Organic Skincare + Wellness NYC through professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Massage Therapy License

• CPR certification preferred

• Minimum 1 year of massage therapy experience (spa experience preferred)

• Excellent knowledge of anatomy, contraindications, and body mechanics

• Strong communication and client relationship skills

• Ability to educate clients without being sales-oriented

• Professional appearance and positive attitude

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Comfortable working evenings and weekends

Preferred Skills

Experience with one or more of the following:

• Lymphatic Drainage Massage

• Deep Tissue Massage

• Swedish Massage

• Prenatal Massage

• Sports Massage

• Myofascial Release

• Hot Stone Therapy

• Aromatherapy

• Cupping (if licensed)

• Stretch Therapy
