Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Licensed Esthetician and Certified Laser Technician to join our growing medical spa team. This dual-role position is responsible for delivering high-quality skincare and advanced laser treatments to our clients in a professional, results-driven, and safe manner. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in medical aesthetics, passionate about skincare, and skilled in using state-of-the-art laser and aesthetic equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Esthetician Duties:

• Perform customized facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microneedling and other skin treatments.
• Conduct thorough skin analysis and consultations to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Recommend and educate clients on appropriate home care and skincare products.
• Maintain treatment rooms, tools, and equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
• Stay current on skincare trends, techniques, and new technologies.

Laser Technician Duties:

• Perform a variety of laser treatments including but not limited to:
• Laser hair removal
• Conduct client consultations including skin assessments and treatment planning.
• Document all treatments accurately in client charts.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Monitor and maintain laser equipment to ensure proper functionality.

Qualifications

• Active Esthetician License in Massachusetts
• Certified Laser Technician (per state requirements)
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a medical spa or aesthetic practice REQUIRED
• Strong knowledge of skin types, cosmetic ingredients, and laser technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, detail-oriented, and client-focused
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

• Experience with medical-grade skincare lines (ZO SKINHealth)
• Knowledge of EMR or spa management software
• Sales or product knowledge experience is a plus
• Social Media Marketing

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Manual dexterity to perform facial and laser treatments
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (equipment or supplies)
