Laser Technician-Cosmetologist

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laser treatments including esthetic laser procedures, body waxing, dermabrasion, and laser hair removal with precision and safety.
• Assist clients by providing consultations on laser treatments, skincare routines, and aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized treatment area in strict adherence to sanitation protocols and safety standards.
• Utilize salon management software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage treatment logs efficiently.
• Support other beauty services such as eyelash extensions, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, makeup application, hair threading, nail care, barbering, and skin care as needed.
• Educate clients on various cosmetic procedures including dermabrasion, dermal fillers, and eyelash extensions to promote informed decision-making.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest laser technology advancements and industry best practices through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales within the beauty or skincare industry is preferred.
• Certification or licensure in cosmetology or esthetician practices required; additional certifications in laser treatment are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clients.
• Experience performing esthetic laser treatments along with body waxing, skin rejuvenation techniques like dermabrasion, and makeup application.
• Familiarity with sanitation standards essential for maintaining a safe treatment environment.
• Ability to perform specialized services including eyelash extensions, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, nail care, hair threading, barbering, and skin care procedures confidently.
