Job Summary:We are seeking a Junior Stylist/Assistant to support our team and begin the journey toward becoming a full-time hairstylist. This position is ideal for newly licensed cosmetologists or students close to licensure who are passionate about the industry and eager to grow within a salon environment.
This is a career-track role—you'll assist experienced stylists, receive in-depth training, and work your way into building your own clientele over time.
Responsibilities
- Assist stylists with shampoos, blow-drying, toners, treatments, and color applications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon
- Greet and support clients during their visit
- Attend in-salon training and educational sessions
- Learn and grow into taking your own clients
Qualifications
- MA Cosmetology license (or currently enrolled and nearing completion)
- Passion for hair and the beauty industry
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and be part of a team
