We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair care services to our clients while creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Your expertise in hairstyling, along with your ability to communicate effectively with clients, will ensure that they leave feeling confident and satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, multi-dimensional color services (bridal and prom up-styles are a plus!)
• Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences
• Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized
• Assist at the front desk with scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling retail sales
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to offer clients the latest styles
• Effectively communicate with clients regarding their desired looks and provide professional recommendations

Experience and Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license is required (or working toward obtaining license)
• Will train candidates who are driven, passionate, and eager to learn their craft
• Strong skills in upselling products and services as well as retail knowledge
• Experience in foiling, balayage, multi-dimensional color, and up-styles is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs
