Duties

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling while applying color theory effectively.
• Perform hair extension applications and maintenance, ensuring the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
• Utilize salon software such as Vagaro for scheduling appointments and managing client records efficiently.
• Maintain sanitation standards throughout the salon to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
• Engage with clients to provide exceptional customer service, addressing their needs and preferences with professionalism.
• Assist in retail sales by upselling products that complement services provided, utilizing retail math skills to manage inventory effectively.
• Manage front desk operations including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and handling appointment bookings.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and foster a welcoming atmosphere in the salon.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license is required.
• Proven experience in hair styling, barbering, or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with salon software systems like Vagaro is a plus.
• Strong understanding of color theory and various hair care techniques including razor usage.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
• Ability to mentor others while demonstrating leadership qualities within the team.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices within a salon environment is essential.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members alike.
