Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
• Apply hair extensions and perform hair threading as requested by clients.
• Utilize straight razor techniques for precise cuts and styles.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment following all sanitation protocols.
• Use salon software such as Vagaro for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Assist with front desk duties, including greeting clients, answering phones, and managing retail sales.
• Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and products to enhance their styling experience.
• Upsell salon services and retail products to maximize customer satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, makeup application, nail care, and beauty products.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license is required.
• Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Knowledge of color theory and various coloring techniques.
• Familiarity with salon software systems, particularly Vagaro.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Experience in retail sales is preferred to assist with product recommendations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in both service delivery and sanitation practices.
