Duties

• Provide professional hair styling, coloring, and haircutting services using advanced techniques such as balayage, highlights, and precision cuts.
• Apply hair extensions and eyelash extensions with precision to enhance clients' natural beauty.
• Conduct consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable treatments or styles based on color theory and current trends.
• Operate salon software like MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing retail sales efficiently.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to health regulations.
• Offer expert advice on hair care products and retail items to boost sales through effective upselling strategies.
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing bookings, and handling inquiries with excellent communication skills.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, barbering (including straight razor shaves), and nail care to foster a collaborative environment.
• Manage store operations by supporting inventory management, retail math calculations, and merchandising displays that promote our product lines.

Experience

• Proven experience as a professional hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles including hair threading, makeup application, and nail care.
• Demonstrated expertise in hair extensions application, eyelash extensions, and color theory for customized client results.
• Familiarity with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and client tracking.
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices within a salon environment to ensure client safety and compliance with health standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients of all backgrounds while providing personalized service.
• Experience in retail sales techniques including upselling products that complement styling services to enhance client satisfaction.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of service delivery.

Compensation and Work Location

Pay: $700.00 - $1,000.00 per week
